how it works

Timber stud partition

Fermacell Gypsum fibre boards are installed in a similar way to traditional drylining methods.

Unlike traditional dry lining methods Fermacell boards do not need a skim plaster finish as the Fermacell Fine Surface Treatment provides a skim type finish in a fraction of the time without the need for specialist trades.

The square edge Fermacell board joints are bonded together with Fermacell Jointstik  providing an easily applied, superiorly strong joint with out the requirement for jointing tapes and compounds.

During the manufacturing process of Fermacell the boards are pressed rather than extruded this means that Fermacell boards are stronger and more dense than traditional materials providing superior acoustic - performance with the ability to carry fixtures and fittings up to 50kg  fixed directly to the boards.
